Our purpose

Why webuildbridges.

For us, this starts on October 7th. With the loss we experienced. With the people we could not save. And with the need to do something about it.

We cannot undo that day. But we can take responsibility for what comes next. The loss we carry is part of why we do this work, and why the problems we choose to solve matter to us.

In the years since, we have worked alongside the army to support the people serving and help solve the problems they face. That work happens hand in hand: listening, understanding what is needed, and working together toward something that can make a difference.

It has shaped our belief that meaningful defense technology begins with the people who need it. With an important mission. With a real problem that deserves to be solved.

A connection worth keeping.

On October 7th, and in the years that followed, we saw how powerful it is when the diaspora and the homeland connect. People showed up for one another. Distance did not erase the sense of responsibility or the desire to help.

We never want that connection to fade. We intend to build something lasting from it: a relationship in which Israel and the diaspora both contribute, both learn, and both benefit.

BRIDGE is our way of helping that happen. We connect the people building technologies in Israel with people abroad who want to take part in their future. We want those connections to strengthen Israel, create meaningful opportunities for those who participate, and help protect people across the West and around the world.

The mission comes first.

We believe defense technology is first and foremost about taking on important missions and solving real problems. Protecting lives. Supporting the people who carry responsibility for others. Giving them better tools to do their work.

That work will also open new worlds of technology. The internet and GPS show how research rooted in defense can go on to reshape everyday life. We believe the teams solving today's urgent problems can help create tomorrow's possibilities.

Our vision is a connection that sustains both: the work needed to protect people now, and the innovation that can build a better future.

The story behind BRIDGE

Our mark takes inspiration from an ancient bridge in Jerusalem, remembered today through Wilson's Arch. It connected the Upper City to the Temple Mount and carried an aqueduct bringing water from Solomon's Pools.

Outside the walls enclosing the Temple Mount, Jerusalem's Upper City was home to aristocratic and high-priestly families. The bridge crossed the valley between their neighborhood and the Temple Mount, providing a passage from their homes to the worship and service carried out in the Temple. It connected the life of the city with the work at its sacred heart.

That connection speaks to why we do this work. The people building technologies to protect lives need a path to the people, resources and trust that can help their work reach those who need it. We take inspiration from a bridge that brought people together around a shared purpose, and carried the water that helped sustain it.

That is the bridge we want to build. And the connection we want to keep.
